SPENDING TIME TOGETHER, EVEN WHEN THERE IS NO TIME.

Spending quality time together with your spouse is an essential part of keeping a relationship happy and connected. You might be familiar with the term “quality time” but what does it really mean and how do you actually spend quality time with your Spouse?
Quality time is any time that you and your spouse spend together that makes you feel closer, more connected and more in love than you were prior to that moment. Quality time can be spent anywhere while doing anything that you and your spouse will enjoy. As long as you are able to laugh, smile, feel good around each other and connect in a positive way while doing whatever you do, it will be quality time.
As a couple, it’s both your responsibility to work hard and create a mood where you both enjoy spending the time together. The quality time might be 20 minutes out of an entire evening together at home, or it might be hours. The amount of the quality time doesn’t always matter, as long as you do it often enough to keep the relationship feeling good. The success of your quality time together is not about how much time you spend together, but what you do with it. Song of Solomon 7:10-12 "I am my beloved's, and his desire is toward me. Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages. Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves".
Let us make Spending quality time together a daily priority, even when the day is filled with great activities that are demanding. Our phones, computers, TVs, and consoles will be replaced every few years but not our SPOUSES . God has designed us to truly enjoy each other's company . Let every second we spend with our spouses count . It greatly matters for building healthy relationships.
Grace of our Lord be with us. Amen
