Yes! Practice word control
We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check. — James 3:2
Secondly; Don’t respond too quickly. “To answer before listening that is folly and shame” Proverbs 18:13. Before you speak, listen carefully and make sure you understand what is really being said. Our need to look good when we speak can cause us to lose respect in the eyes of the person we’re seeking to impress. Thirdly; We should not commit ourselves too quickly. Solomon writes, “Do not be rash with your mouth, and let not your heart utter anything hastily before God” Ecclesiastes 5:2. Then he goes on to explain how we shouldn’t try to drop out of a commitment by saying we made a mistake. When we break a promise, we hurt people and forfeit their trust. Yes!
It is important for us to pause before we speak, and if need be, take time to pray on what to say. Let our words count.

PRAYER
Lord, help me to walk in wisdom. Empower my words and guide me to speak them gracefully for your glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
