CASNFCI SCRIPTURE & PRAYER FOR THE DAY

Yes! it has been long.
When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” —Luke 13:12
“There was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself. But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, ‘Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.’ And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God” v11-13. This woman couldn’t walk right because she had been bound by “a SPIRIT OF INFIRMITY” for eighteen years. That’s a long time to struggle with something. And during that time, she had been in the temple and received no help or deliverance. Then Jesus “called” her to the forefront. I wonder Why didn’t Jesus just heal her in her seat? God wants us to exercise faith and act on His Word. When we live with an unsolved problem for a long time, we start thinking, “This will never change.” So, before God changes our circumstances, He changes our minds and enables us to see new possibilities. This is called “faith.” The Bible says, “But without faith, it is impossible to please him, for anyone who approaches God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him” Heb 11:6. God wants to see us always moving toward Him in confidence. Another thing that we should not overlook here is that God wants us to invest in our deliverance. When you have an investment in something, you value and protect it. That way, when Satan tries to bring the problem back, you say, “No”. That’s no longer who I am. I’m a new creation in Christ.” “I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me ”Galatians 2:20.

PRAYER
Lord, develop in me the right mindset that will respond to life issues in the wisdom and power of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
